This is the same driveway shown after it has been sealed. Sealing is not necessary but it does improve the look of the brick and can protect if from stains and ultraviolet rays from the sun. The sealing process however is not usually done as part of a quote as it can be time intensive. In order to seal paver stones, an efflorence cleaner must be applied, this is then rinsed off and must be done so very well. You then have to wait for ALL moisture to evaporate, even between the bricks. This can take several days. During this time you must not drive on it or get water on it. You then apply the sealer, which has a strong chemical smell (a proper mask is recommended) You then do not drive on it for a 24 hour period after. If you apply the sealant to the pavers with moisture still in the brick (it could be there without being able to see it) it will form a whitish/yellowish cloud to it. This can also happen if efflorence has not been fully removed. But overall it can really enhance the look.
